Before studying at UCSB, I attended the University of Northern Iowa pursing a BSc in GIScience: Environmental Emphasis, as well as a BA in Ecology with honors research. I am currently a MA/PhD student in the Geography Department at the University of California Santa Barbara. I worked with Dar Roberts in the Visualization & Image Processing for Environmental Research (VIPER Lab). My current research focuses on using remote sensing techniques to determine foliar chemistry and biophysical properties as they deviate seasonally and across California ecosystems.
